Hello!

Post by Percy »

Hello there!

I managed to get my hands on a 1957 100E! I've wanted a funky odd 'little' car ever since I was a kid. Unfortunately, when I got the thing towed back home it turns out that the engine would need a complete rebuild.

I'm almost done with that (thanks to the help of my super mechanic friend Steve!). However, the cost and time spent with nothing to show for it got me a bit dejected. The project was shelved for about a year.

Now, I'm itching to start up again!

I'm having a tough time finding certain parts I need. I ended up getting your link from a great guy named JAN on the Ford100E.com forum!

(Figures I've got to go half way around the world to find something that is right in my back yard!)

I'm looking forward to all the stuff i hope to learn from this site!

Welcome to the forum! My dad's first 'modern' car here in the UK was a 59 100E Anglia so I had many trips in one as a boy. In fact two uncles had them, a Popular and a Prefect. There is a club here for them plus some specialist suppliers do yell if you need anything.
