Hello All,
I must have come to my senses lately after driving my 66 Cortina GT a few weeks back for the first time in a long while. I cant tell you how I've missed driving my car, as there is really only one word "FUN". Many of you might already know me but it's nice to re-acquaint myself. I own a Sept. 1966 Cortina GT that was originally bought by a family in Long Beach, Calif. finding it's way to northern Calif. and staying most of it's life there until I bought it 17yrs. ago. My family and Cortina migrated to the Pacific Northwest about 12 yrs. ago where we started a new life. Before the Cortina, I owned many different cars from Lotuses to Minis etc. but always have had a connection to the Cortina. My first memories were when I was a kid in Calif. we would go to Laguna Seca and watch Brit cars race against German, Italian etc. then go into the paddock area and talk with the Locort racers about their cars. Anyway I'm starting to ramble on....
I just wanted to say that Iam a Cortinaholic and my name is Steve Kovacs. It will be fun to contribute to this forum...thanks for listening!
