I had a major desire for an Escort back in the mid 1970s There where only two in Vancouver that I was aware of and one was for sale, a beautiful Mk1 Twin Cam that was set up for track use but still street able. I almost bought that car but the right hand drive put me off a little and the $4000 price tag really put me off. Back in 1975 four grand would have been a big expense for me, too bad I never took the plunge.

This is a great comprehensive video. I wasn't aware of Cortina's value until I saw this film. Great Great Loved it. Almost going to buy one, almost. Need to save my money for a van to travel the country.
