MK1 Cortina GT

Post by Sideways » Fri Jun 07, 2019 2:17 pm

Update:

I want a Mk1 Cortina GT, as rust-free as possible or one with the rust 'fixed', don't care about the mechanicals all that much.

Will swap my 1991 Lotus elan +/- cash as needed either way.

Talking of being Scottish. A Scotsman was up a ladder attending to his gutter. He accidentally dropped a quarter and so he went down to get it....It hit him on the head! :D

I am swaying back and forth on the wagon...while the wagon has a certain appeal I still hanker after the GT and I am in no rush.

I may even consider swapping/trading this for the right Mk1 GT...

Oops, just re-read it. He does not have a title just a Bill of Sale so I doubt you will be able to import it. Sorry.

Okay...and moving on from there, if he does not find a local home for the car, it may be time for me to take a trip south

I just came across some dealer brochures on the "new" Elan.
Also have a couple on the Esprit ('91?).
Remember - Nobody EVER says "COOL PRIUS!"
