My first company car back in Blighty was a 2.8i. Lovely car.

looks great until you look at the underside and engine compartment pictures , a bit pricy I,d say .

Looks exactly like mine I sold in 1980. I agree that it is too high priced, like they put lipstick on a pig to sell it.

An oft used expression 'put lipstick on a pig' but in this case, precisely what we see here.

maybe he is trying to recover the cost of the paint job :D

Somehow I was (incorrectly I guess) assuming the underside & engine bay photos were "before" photos, like the one of the exterior. Oh well. :(
