No photos yet. I have seen this car in person. It looks pretty good. Car was originally from Canada.

1967 Ford Cortina mint condition - $25 (Olympia)

Mint condition. Rebuilt 2.0L SVT engine. Fully seam welded. Rebuilt, close ratio T9 5speed trans. Heavy clutch. Megasquirt. Leguna (panasport/minilite) wheels. Fuel cell. 1/2 cage. Corbeau classic seats. Originally built to be full blown vintage rally car, but detuned to be fast, fun, safe street car. Everything works even passenger map light. Not hacked to pieces. Full dash, door cards, headliner. No backseats due to cage. Battery shut off. Quick release steering wheel. Fully re-wired and mapped. Dyno tuned. 4 big super Oscar lights up front. Better than new. Not a dent or scratch anywhere. No bondo. Never wrecked. I’ve owned the car for 10+ years. Never raced, never even on a gravel road. Managed the modifications. Built for fun weekends and shows. Gets loads of attention. Will consider trades for 996 or 997 Porsche 911 or BMW M-Coupe. S52 or preferably S54 engine. If add is up I still have the car. Please don’t waste my time with silly offers. I have this car insured for $45k with haggerty. I know what it is, what it’s worth and know it’s only going up in value. The price is Uber firm at $25,000 or a trade for only the above cars. No I don’t need help selling. It’s red. It’s beautiful. It’s fast as shit. It’s fun to drive. It’s safe. It’s as reliable as a 2004 Ford Focus.... probably more so. I have 100s of photos of the car and during the build. I’m not in a hurry to sell. I will be putting it up on bringatrailer.com if it doesn’t sell before summer time. Thank you.

"as reliable as a 2004 Ford Focus." What else do you need to know? :?

Yes, I was a bit keen to see how the car presented itself and when I read this in his ad I wondered why maybe just one picture could not be placed in it.  " I have 100s of photos of the car and during the build."

Photos aside and assuming the seller(?) went with a Zetec/Duratec you would be looking at 170- 200 hp, depending on the state of tune - which would help get this car moving along niely.

But then again, without photos...its hard to say :D

I'll keep trying.

Nope. And the original ad was in the Parts category to circumvent the $5 cars fee.

Interesting, the Focus SVT engine was good for 170hp in a 2800lb car, I had one and you had to row it to get it there but it went well when you gave it the wellie.

The Cortina weighed 2000lbs...and this engine here has obviously been breathed on, probably putting out a bit more oomph and possibly more torque lower down.

We may never know unless the owner coughs up a bit more info

A high dash Mk2, same as my old Lotus Cortina.
