It has a later 2.0L & 5 spd.

2 DOOR PILLARLESS COUPE. WITH A 2.0 PINTO ENGINE WITH VERY SMOOTH 5 SPEED GEAR BOX AND A FORD RS 2000 REAR END. VERY RARE CAR THE BEST LOOKING CAR THAT FORD UK MADE RHD. RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT. FORD PINTO 5 SPEED GEARBOX GRANADA LEATHER INTERIOR. GENUINE MINILITE WHEELS WITH GOOD TIRES. ITS NOT A NOT A SHOW CAR. IT WAS RESTORED ABOUT 20YEARS AGO. CLEAN COLORADO TITLE IN MY NAME AND 5 YEAR PLATES.

No photos of the trunk, the underside, that rear axle and the engine area etc...and the price IS high.

I've driven one that a gal owned in the mid-80's with a 1600 Pinto engine. It feels tail heavy speeding on curves. Don't know if any were ever used as race cars.

That's one I didn't know of.I used to keep track of serial numbers on these.
I had two,& sold one to a guy who lives in the Denver area also.
'62's came with a three main 1340 cc engine,which ran fairly rough.'63's had
the 1500 Cortina engine (there was also a Capri GT).
And yes,that's a crazy price.
Remember - Nobody EVER says "COOL PRIUS!"

I had one in High School back in Blighty. Still on my bucket list but not at that price, I'm afraid.

The car is now on e-bay. I don't think it will make reserve. Presently at $3450 with 4 days to go.
