1958 Zephyr?

No affiliation, just stumbled across it when I was (again) searching for a rust free :D MK1 Cortina GT.

That car has been for sale for quite a long time, it doesn't look too bad from the photos but who knows until you see it in the flesh?

Looks like he's selling parts off it. Someone needed the letter "Z"

Yeah, that's been around a while. Even free, it would turn out expensive.

That's likely true but it's much better than this one that rests in the woods a few miles from me.

Those bumper guards might be worth saving. Fits the Aston Martin DB4/5

Yep, sold it in 2019 and it went to England, as did my Vauxhall Cresta.

I took that photo about 15 years ago, it is one of the abandoned wrecks that were in the woods near me. I don't know if it is a high or low or even if it is still up there in the forest??

Hi thanks for the reply, I was thinking if it was a H/L it may have a part I was looking for . But I`m sure the car would have been cleared away by now after 15yrs, just thought I`d ask you never know. I`ve seen the part I need on a car featured in a Youtube clip, but its in Venezuela of all places. The part is the (ford radio) mount this sits under the radio in the middle of the lower dash, the radio gets removed// re purposed but the mount always gets left behind. Anyway cheers simon

Well if you do its held in by 2 screws through the dash and 2 bolts into the firewall I think 1/2" from memory. There would be a fair bit of beer money in it to. Anyway keep safe over there cheers Simon

Well I finally did it with the beautiful weather we are currently having, we hiked back up into the woods to revisit the Ford Consul and what a difference 15 years makes. You recall the 2006 photos.

Well I don't think the part you want is here, just for your entertainment here is a pile of photos of how it looks today.
