Really stupid asking price.
I cyber-chatted with him a couple of years back when he was asking just under $12K seems like a reasonable man but as I said above - Really stupid asking price.

I tried searching for any MK1 for sale in N America in at least
#2 condition for <$US13K. Not anymore .

Oh that ship has definitely sailed!
Still wouldn't pay the asking for this one though, regardless of the exchange rate etc
Wonder what the asking will be this time next year?

Not a bad idea - when someone says the price is way out of line (which it is) he can reduce it to a more "reasonable"
level. Silly bugger.
Have to admit, that this ad of mine (just clearing the garage) could be seen the same way but I just want the top to go to someone who can use rather than dump it
