English Ford Cortina MK 2, Lotus Cortina replica - $12,500 (Clinton)
I’m selling my Ford Cortina that has been built into a Lotus Cortina replica. It had LC wheels and hubcaps, Pirelli CN-36 tires, the correct LC dash with the extra gauges, the green flash. The engine is a tuned 2 liter pinto engine, type 9 ford 5 speed, new two piece driveshaft from England,Konis all around , I just ordered all the window rubber, seals and door seals and a new headliner ( all still in boxes ) , the paint is all original with plenty of patina, the only rust is a few bubbles at the rear fender lips. The seats are tired, I have two good front seats that are included.
If you have loved the original Lotus Cortina but now find they are way too expensive this is a great option. It’s as quick, has a 5th gear, easy and cheap to maintain, and you can actually use it. It’s been super reliable for me, I drove on a 1500 mile trip into the BCinterior last year.
