Very nice, Brent. Don't see many MK2s in that condition. Pete

Thanks for the comments guys. Its great hearing the comments and discussions when I am out driving it around. So many people remember the Cortina and either had one or knew somebody that had one. I have been hearing a lot "I used to have a Cortina and wished I never sold it"

I was searching some of my photos and found my old 70 MK1 Capri, English assembled with 2.0L V4.

Ah the famous Ford V4 or more commonly known here as the V3, lol. Love the rear window louvres, quite a common accessory back in the day. A friend had the same model of Capri and one morning found it further down the road from where it had been parked. Some lowlife had tried to steal it by rolling it away and bump starting it, how were they to know that the battery was in the shed being charged?

I was very close to buying a V4 GT back around 1976. I liked the flat hood and rectangular headlights, that really set it apart from the other Capri's sold here in Canada.
