Three of the Beatles first cars were English Fords. Ringo Starr; Zodiac MK2
Paul McCartney: Consul Classic 315. John Lennon got his driver's license at 24 and didn't drive much. He ratherd be chauffeured.

George Harrison was a car enthusiast until his way too early death. A few years ago a friend had just parked his Consul Mk2 (fitted with a 3 litre V6 from a Capri) at some music studio when George spotted it and came over to chat. Apparently he loved it and spent quite a while with my friend just talking cars. Top bloke as we say in the UK.

Actually, Ringo was known to drive a Standard Vanguard when he was working at the holiday camps pre-Fab Four. A zodiac might be the first new car he bought when they made it. In fact George said that one of the things that impressed them about Brian Epstein (their manager) was tha he drove a Zephyr Zodiac. And yes, that was how the first Zodiacs were described.
