Ford Around the World

The responsibility of Ford's management extends far beyond the shores of the U.S.A. Ford products are manufactured and distributed throughout the world. The Ford International Division gives counsel and guidance to foreign branches, such as the assembly plant in Santiago, Chile, and to associated companies such as Ford Motor Company Limited in England and the Ford companies in Belgium, Denmark and Mexico. Ford of Canada has wholly owned subsidiaries in New Zealand, Australia, the Malay Peninsula, India and South Africa. Ford companies in other countries make different cars, like the Consul and Zephyr in England and the Taunus in Germany. The police in Antwerp use Ford patrol cars, and Ford tractors work in the cotton fields of Morocco. All Ford companies and branches receive the benefit of the technical skill and sales knowledge that are centered in the parent company in the U.S.A.
