Well, after driving 125 miles I reached Stowe Vermont for the 2010 British Car Invasion. Thinking they would suck up a new "Class" of car English Ford 100E, I went to the Reg. Desk and they said "no I don't care that we don't have English Fords on the field you didn't preregister." (I just got the car running last week). They would not let me enter the main Field. Main field Consisted of probably 100 each of MG's, Jaguars, Triumphs, red green blue, red green blue, red green blue. 50 or so Land Rovers, green blue red, green blue red, green blue red. 50 Rolls Big, Bigger and Bling Big. But only 1 Hillman, 1 Huber, 2 Sunbeams, 1 Wolesey, 1 Morris but no English Ford's AT ALL. EXCEPT: a dejected beautiful Pompidour Blue 100E in the parking lot, which drew a lot of attention from every single person who passed by. I saved myself a huge $60. field entry fee. The local Reg. desk was OBLIVIOUS, no wonder the whole event is run from Massachusettes. Over and Out.
