I got a call about a '74 Capri.Was told -
"Come & get it within 5 days,or it's going to the
wrecking yard".
It's Yellow,V6,4 speed.Has rust,but could
be repairable.I have no interest in this,but I don't
want to see it crushed.
I have a trailer,& could store it for a short
time.The car's in Eureka,California.

I'm ticked! Went over to look at it today - it's been
"sold" to somone else.I left a message to the "seller",
to put me in toch with the guy - maybe we can salvage
some parts off of it.

The guy who bought it called me today -
said he paid $50 for it,but doesn't want to deal
with it.He told me if anyone's interested in it,
that they can have it for $50.
I could store it (short term),if anyone's
interested.I can email pictures.

The really sad thing about this car is that I sold
it to the previous owner. The car was a trade in at
the local Honda,Mazda, etc. dealer,& a friend of mine
who's a mechanic there,bought it.He let me borrow it,
& was in really nice shape.
The teenage girl who bought it let her boyfriend
drive it.He ran the right door into a guardrail,& shortly
after that, the car was parked. It's really sad to see a
really nice car go downhill like that.
I'm not getting any money out of this - I just wanted
to see it saved from the crusher.

It's finally gone - Clyde Bailey came down from
Brookings,Oregon,& picked it up yesterday.
If anyone's looking for parts,I can put you in
touch with him.
