Just though I'd share a pic a friend of mine took of the Harry Potter 105E Anglia in front of the Harry Potter exhibit at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.

Nice picture James -- thanks.
Actually I don't think there is a "The" Harry Potter Anglia. I remember reading in the UK 105E Anglia club newsletter that like 10 or 20 Anglias were used (and used up) in the production of that movie. Maybe this is the car that was used before it got pounded by those trees.

You are correct Michael, there were about 15 Anglias used for filming. A friend of mine who was the secretary of the UK 105E club supplied the cars from his stash. The majority of them were only fit for spares and it meant that the film company did not go onto the market to buy decent Anglias to wreck. They did quite a few versions, one had a V6 so it could smoke the tyres and they even made damaged hoods etc in fibreglass for the car that got 'whomped' by the trees.
