Just bought another Cortina GT

I came across a 1964 mk1 gt for sale and decided I had to have it. The price seemed reasonable, 1500 bucks. It will be quite a project but should be fun. I will post pics when the car arrives. I will add the craigslist link but dont know how long the ad will be their....

I see its now on BAT. I havnt heard from the seller since Monday so I hope we still have a deal. He sent me pictures and claims the only rust is in the rockers. The trunk looks very solid.
He also said the engine turns by hand so its not frozen. Its always scary to buy something from photos but the price seems reasonable as long as its not rusted out.

Well I never saw the new cortina. The seller quit corresponding with me. I can only assume when it hit BAT he got offered more money!! Kind of a bummer, the search continues!!
