how rare is the mk2 cortina?

i have managed to find 3 mk 2 cortinas in manitoba, canada alone (two of which i own and the other sits in front of a house that no one currently lives in). i am very curious to find out how rare it accually is. when i ask some one if they know what a cortina is, they just kind of stare at me, even the car guys! is this car really that rare?

The Mk II Cortina was fairy popular in Canada when new and did okay in the US too. Top US sales year was 1968 with 35,000 sold. I expect that several hundred still exist in North America. Is that rare? I don't know, but it is pretty uncommon for sure.

i just wish people knew what they were
