Went into the garage and looked at my Anglia 105e today.. Passing My hand frm the frnt fender to the back and just looking at it.. What a nice looking car...

Knowing that I have knee surgery tomorrow I decided to drive my MK1 Cortina GT today as I know I won't for awhile.
I just totally enjoy this car....I guess maybe that's why I've owned it for over 19 yrs.!

I connected and tested the last piece of my handmade wiring harness on the '48 Prefect. Great feeling and no smoke escaped.

I put two new whitewalls on my 100E, washed the car and went to Granite State Nationals show, where everyone said "Oh! what a cute car" .

I went to the garage where I store my 105E and put the cover back on it. Oh, and found out that it's wanted to be on display at the very prestigious Goodwood Revival meeting in September.

This morning I drove my Mk III Cortina on some back roads to attend a general interest car show in the small town of Tenino. Lots of hot rods, and folks wondering what a Cortina was. Nice summer morning drive.

Started up by Anglia 105e today .. hear it idle for about 5 minutes then moved my cutlass 442 out of the way .. Pulled my baby out and drove it around for about 25 minutes.. If The wheather permits saturday and sunday it will be driven a lot..

Well today I went to my brother house He had the freeking car jacked up for 2 month talking bout he gonna under coat the car.. well I put my foot up his ass today Because I spent excess amount of dollars doing his brakes.. anyway all the hard wrk was done he had sanded it and power wash the entire under carriage .. I painted the entire bottom with the under coat paint put the wheels back on it and we went jolly riding with it for a good while.. I also moved my other anglia that have been sitting in my drive way all summer waiting on my body guy to do the body wrk which he still has not done .. anyway I put it on the flat bed and took it to my brothers garage and parked it inside . Thats it for the year with me and my anglias see you guys nx year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Michael for the well wish as it did go well and I'm back driving my Cortina again! I will be driving it much more next year because I've moved my Mini Estate down the road to another owner back in Connecticut. I guess he's a worthy new owner as he's the publisher of the magazine called the "Economist".

So Paul, what came of your meeting at Goodwood? I'm jealous that you're a stones throw away from Goodwood. That meeting is on my bucket list.

Well Steve Goodwood was as brilliant as ever although the weather could have been a tad kinder on the Saturday & Sunday. I took my Anglia down on the Thursday and loaded it onto the Thames Trader car transporter behind a 105E wagon. There was a '100 Years of Ford in the UK' parade on all three days of the meeting which seemed pretty popular with everyone. Plus the cover of the programme for this most prestigious event featured an original drawing of an early 105E dash so the humble Anglia made it to the big time! I got my copy of 'Classic & Sports Car' magazine this week and was delighted to see a photo of the Trader and my Anglia on the track. Well, my Zephyr has been up on stands since January when the brake servo ate all my brake fluid and I lsot all barkes. Again. I had the servo rebuilt and now it is time to get her back on the road. Today, I removed the wheels which I am now wire brushing so that I can repaint them black. Also removed bumper over-riders as I am going for a cleaner look. New exhaust tips and a quick go over with a wrench/spanner and she should be ready to be dropped off at the shop for bleeding...then rack up some miles.

In Paul's first youtube clip. what is the car at 2:00? Is it a customized Cortina?
