Thanks for the flowers guys. Reggie I still haven't pulled anything off the second car and I got a lot of usable parts off the third car which could possibly go on to it so it may get rescued yet.

Keep up the great work! I sure wish I had a project with a son but only have two daughters that don't like cars but i still love them. Post more progress.

Well I haven't updated in a little while. I picked up another Mk2 a couple of months ago. It had been in a barn since 1981. It did not take much to get the engine running. No rust at all just a couple of dented fenders. The interior is trashed but it has an all white interior and the build plate says that the Trim is SPCL which I presume means special. I have also updated the progress on my original MK2 at the website www.kiwicortina.com. Thanks for looking :lol:

Give me a yell next time you are through.

Has anyone out there bolted the front fenders on to the inner fender on a mark2? Would this be a cardinal sin? It would make future repairs a lot easier.
