But no explanation on the nubering/lettering.
The plates on the TBird should be Blue/Gold,not
Black/Gold.
Pete,any further explanation?

I went on the DMV, Ca website and there was no info about it.
This Asembly Bill was signed by G. Brown so it should go in effect Jan 1.

If I understand it correctly, the DMV is going to produce one of only three
vintage plates once 75K applications have been received. My Zephyr has the black plates but originally came with yellow/black lettering. I will admit an application for the yellow plates as I still have the original plate #.

They're using a bad example on that pictured T-Bird which has an early black personal plate. That model came with a 50's yellow plate and black lettering.
I will post more info when available.
