Jus found a 58 escort 101e motor runs but needs some tlc body super straight all glass good I love it but what's it worth ???

Well I jumped the gun and bought the car and all types of cars spark my intreast they want $8000 for that well I got mine for $300 lol wish I could post pics but can't now I'm useing my iPhone it's a neat lil wagon for sure

Great purchase, do you plan to keep it stock or go for modified? how is the rust situation? Anyway as I said before check out http://www.ford100e.org/portal

The lil flatty 4 runs like a top I'm goin to jus leave it alone rust on pass side rocker and both fromt floors rusty nothing a lil welding can't fix needs a clutch master cyl saw on line some guys converting it to cable I don't think that be to hard to do iv done many VW clutches this way I'm a use what u got kinda guy I bet a E brake cable and cover from full size truck could be rigged to work any input or ideas are welcome I do got pics on my facebook feel free to add me Jerry Bettigrew

That clutch master is a very common part found on a lot of English cars, I would be inclined to just rebuild or replace it just to keep it simple. As far as Facebook goes I have never used it before but you should be able to get pics up soon I would think. Happy welding.

Yes sir it is I would rebuild the master cyl but the PO took them off to rebuild and lost them I was looking tho and looks like spitfire master cyl would work

Well it looks like you have some work ahead of you starting with the hydraulics, you better give them all a good check over. I thought the triumph cylinders where mounted on an angle like the enclosed pic and there is always Ebay for the correct stuff, original cyl is 5/8 bore

U might be right I'm not new to cars but I'm new to the English cars it's a differnt bird I know it's bad but took me 15 min to find the hood latch lol my whole plans at first was to cut it up make a hot rod with v8 5 speed but more I look at it more I like the lil 4 popper tried starting it today can't get points to spark cleaned them might need a coil it looks a lil rough i guess a 12 volt coil from a 6 cyl should work to see if it will fire it does turn over and all lights work o and I figured out u pull the start button not push lol thank u guys for the help ford currie M/C will fit for brakes

The master cylinder in the above eBay listing is correct for the car. The slant mounted one will not work. You can get new ones from Kip Motor in Dallas.

Kip does seem to have a lot of stock but their prices are quite high. Wilwood too have compatable cylinders
