Ford V-6 gaskets and stuff

Post by bob2274 »

I have a 1978 TVR with the 3 litre Ford Essex V-6 engine. I understand they were used in certain Cortina models. What a great engine to have in a light fiberglass car, but unfortunately, I have a blown head gasket. I was wondering if anyone knows a source for gaskets and stuff on this side of the pond? There are several TVR specialists in the Uk that I can everything from but I thought I'd check here first.

You might try Dave Bean Engineering,in San Andreas,CA,
or JAE,in Goleta,CA,or Team Blitz,in Ohio.
All three have websites,& Blitz is a Capri specialist.
Where are you located?Do you know Jody Fonseca?

Thanks, I'm not familiar with Team Blitz - I'll check them out. I'm located in Virginia, about an hour and a half from DC.

I do not know Jody, does he have a TVR?
