Hi Gary,

Did your Zephyr that you sold end up going to NZ or Aus ?

Hopefully you'll replace it with another EnFo. There are quite a few Cortinas for sale at the moment with various types of motors.

Regards,

Pete

Actually, it went to a Brit in Orange California who owns a body restoration company. At least that was what I thought until I did some research. It turns out that it's not just a hot rod/Volks resto joint, he restores multi million dollar Ferraris, etc to Pebble Beach award winning standards. So the car is in good hands.
In fact, I was very mindful of the need to sell it to someone who was respectful of its history. At least once it came close to being junked so that its Raymond Mays, triple Webered head motor could go into an Ace. He won't allow that and that was important to me.
I am on the lookout and hopefully will find something interesting soon. In the meantime I still have my twin cam Morris Minor convertible to zoom around in.
