I'm in Virginia - Where Are the ENFO's?

Post by angliagt »

It's been a busy trip - sold most of my Cortina parts to TJ,
in Denver,& had a great visit.
In Kansas,I got to visit with Ken Prather - National SCCA-
Champion in an MGA).
In Nashville,I got to see the Lane Meseum,& see somew
really cool cars (NO Anglias!)
Outside of Nashville,I wqas reunited withmy resurrected
Lotus 61 FF.It was owned by Dennis Firestone at one point,&
NEVER looked as good as it did when I saw it again.
We've been staying in Lynchburg,VA,while attending our Daughter's wedding in the Amherst area.
I also got to visit with Ron Bruner (Taunus 17M wagon),while
attending the New Hope,VA car show last Sunday.I bought 6 raffle tickets-
6/$5),& won a $250 watch!
I also visited a British/European Car shop here in Richmond, where
I saw the Beige MKII Escort 4 door that was advertised recently.
We will be heading to the Norfolk area to visit with our Grandkids,
& their Family.
Are there any ENFO owners in Virginia?

It was good to actually meet Doug! I have spoken with him a few times on the phone, but never actually expected to see him in person. It was a good warm day for a show. Sorry that there were no "English" Fords at the show, but at least there was one "German" Ford there.....Image
