5.5x13 wheel I.D

Post by Langlia »

Hey guys, got what I thought was a set of LoCort wheels but they don't have the 881A stamp but instead a 6 with a 69 below it on one of the nubs. Need to know what they are so I can get a matching pair.

Those are 4.5" rims that came stock on >69 GT. Date stamped June '69.

Bleh. Probably should have checked them out a little better before I bought them. Oh well.

Still a good size rim for a 175/70 tire. Also easier rim to find.

Could be a silver lining here..

Was thinking I could find two more GT Steels... Definitely more common than the Lotus ones and look better than the Anglia ones. Those pizza cutters make me laugh Everytime I look at my car

175 tire on 4.5 wheels , in my opinion one needs a 5 inch wide wheel for that tire size .
