I have been touring around a bit in the U.K. starting in London and jumping up to Scotland, I always have my eye open for the Fords we like to see. The Capri and Pop here I had to find in the Glasgow Riverside Museum, it is quite neat with the car display looking like model cars on a shelf.

I came across this rally Escort in a very small display, it was mixed with two other pre1920 vehicles on the Balmoral Castle Estate, I don't think the Queen is in to these so I don't know why they are there?

We were driving behind this trailered car today on the way to Loch Ness, to me it looks like a later Escort?

I will be watching for more in the coming weeks.

Wish I could but that is way down South in England and I am head ever Northward in Scotland. I think viewing might be by appointment too?

We got to see that Escort Mexico at Ford's 100th Celebration
in 2003,in Dearborn,Michigan. The Englishman who was taking care
of it was excited that someone knew/cared about it,when we were
looking at it.
VERY COOL car!

Yes it is stimulating when you get to chat with a fellow enthusiast, today's exploration had us driving to some towns of my family roots and I happened to stop at this museum along the way https://moraymotormuseum.org/ There were many interesting cars there but no Fords, none the less I had a long/interesting conversation with the owner and it turns out that we share some past connections. It's a small world.

The Ford Heritage Collection isn't open to the public but should you wish to visit it I can make an enquiry with a friend of mine who supplies parts to them, he could ask on your behalf. I visited with him and it is amazing and the guys who look after the collection are welcoming. They did want me to take my very early 1959 Anglia 105E there as it is apparently the earliest roadworthy one and is super original. It would have been nice to take it back to Dagenham but I have now moved up country and am too far away really.
