Craigslist Car Ads No Longer Free

Post by Bob_S »

I don't know if anyone noticed but Craigs List is now requiring a $5 fee to place ads. Just in the last 4 days, I have seen hundreds of cars previously on craigs list drop off.

People abused it.. when you're making 10 Ads for one car, or sifting through dealer spam something has to change.

Langlia,

Agree 100%! Maybe now they will become a better place to find cars and parts. Hopefully the scammers will be gone since they would have to pay $5 for and ad and the dealers with there 100 ads across the country will be gone to!

Lets hop for the best!

Cheers,
Bob

I finally figured it out yesterday. Phoenix used to have cars a day in my chosen search of 1950-1980. Now there are maybe 50. Cuts out a lot of duplicates however.

that explains why i went from a search of 11 to 1800 cars to 60 to 70 in my 1958 to 1982 car search.
