Vancouver ABFM 2019

The ABFM at Vandusen was good yesterday and with great weather too. There were not a lot of us Ford fans there but enough to keep our class going. I had the pleasure of my 100e rear axle failing on the way to the show but I did manage to limp the car safely back home before a full catastrophic failure occurred, I hate the loud cement mixer noise.
I was so worried about the Anglia making it back home that I left the show as soon as possible so I don't know who the winners turned out to be?

Brett, Some good looking Fords representing. Hope there's not too much work to be done to fix your rear axle.

I am sure that the complete rear end is a write-off, fortunately I have a few spare units in my collection of bits. I will explore the damage later today.

Nice photos. You lucked out on the weather. We're having terrible weather in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last few days. The Dixon BC meet is scheduled for today and will be expecting some rain there. Will find out how it faired from Brent.
Hope there isn't too much damage on the R/E. Possibility just an axle bearing ?

Thanks for the info, I haven't won anything there in about 15 years. You have a typo there, who was the third spot?

Love those 105E's! Do you have names to go
along with the cars in the pictures?
I do recognize Cliff's wagon.

Yes that is Cliff's wagon. The Mk2 Lotus was entered by these fellows.

The 105e vehicles are from right here on the Forum so you know them, Dave's dark blue 105e and you can see more on the light blue one here.

Yes, it was a great day - bit long on the speechy stuff at the end but not complaining.

I had my M100 in the sales corral but no sale so far, maybe my granddaughter standing on the seat put people off!
