Post up your current car status!

I don't care if it's a museum piece, or a pile of rust on the shop floor!

Current status: 1976 Escort RS2000, in storage for the winter. Everything worked correctly when last parked.

Well I got embarrassed by the energetic Joe O'dMoors :D into attempting to make some progress on my project so that I could post a current status. I rolled the rust bucket (1959 Thames 300E) out of the garage and fabricated a bottom hose for the radiator. Upon filling the system with water to test for leaks, I found that I'm now in need of a water pump gasket. Wish me luck finding one of those. (I did find someone on ebay selling a complete lower engine gasket set.) UPDATE: I located a new water pump gasket in my boxes of spare parts.

These are the most recent pics that I have taken in August when I replaced the engine on my stock Anglia, with all the rain and other distractions I haven't even had much time to put mileage on the new engine. I am still trying to find a reliable painter for the modified Anglia but I can work on the fuel tank installation and other details in the meantime. I suspect there will be no travelling this Winter so I might make some headway then?

Thank for sharing!
Those look great, I love the colour of the stock car! What's the choice of colour for the modified car?

The colour that I want to paint the modified Anglia is some shade of white because my old 105e was white so it would be reminiscent of that car, besides I think a 100e presents well in white. I have also semi prepared some of the interior in a white shade, white also will hide some of the imperfections that will surely exist on my cars finish as I am not building a piano for sure. Here are a few random 100e cars in white.

I do have some white on the interior in prep for a full paint job but there is certainly more to do.

Thanks, I wanted it to be large enough for three 100e vehicles but I am now down to two so it currently works well for me. My Wife wanted me to build it with some enhancements so I did put some French doors and a deck out back as well as it's own plumbing, power meter, 220V panel and wall mounted heaters. I think she enjoys it when I am in the garage and out of her hair? I also have a nice ocean view out the back deck when I take a break from working on the Anglia's.

Still got the two 107E Prefects, the maroon one fresh from a full restoration and in daily use, and the blue one still for sale, but taken out for a good run on a weekly basis.

I am embarrassed t say I do not currently own a Ford. I sold my MK3 Zodiac and MK2 Zephyr back in 2017 and have not got anything else. Still have classics; just not Fordsl

Great posts everyone!!!

White is such a classic and forgivable colour, hence why mine is white! The paint is not expensive and easy to match as well.
Those cars in the UK look lovely and that Mk2 Cortina looks absolutely perfect with that paint/wheel combination.

Such lovely cars, and yes. If you don't have a ford, feel free to post up an alternative!

That's a lovely car!
Seems like there's a wonderful classic Ford population in BC.

Brett -- your garage is amazing! Do you not have the salmon colored Prefect any more?

My current project status is nothing... but I had some car visitors over today so I took the covers of some of my treasures for show and tell.

And there is this sorry state of affairs with my Corsair... a deer put its foot though the back window trying to reach the apples in the tree it is parked under.
