A new addition to the Family

Post by Kiwi Cortina »

Well I added this to my Enfo family last week. It has a 2.3 Cosworth Duratech 211hp at the wheels, T9 with Quaife straight cut gears, and too many other upgrades to list.

Very nice, Brent. I remember you were on the look out for a MK 1 Escort since last year. Any plans on taking to one of the British car shows. Would love to see it.

Very nice! Did you have to sell your house to buy it?

Pete, I may take it to Dixon, Doug, no I didn't have to go quite as far as selling the house.

Where did you find it? What's it's history?
I looked at one in Gilroy a number of years ago.
It was left hand drive,& started out as a 1300 car.
It was that Copper Brown color. The seller wanted
$4500 for it.

Doug, It was imported from the Philippines in 2005. Originally a 1300GT. It is a SoCal car and the guy drove it for a while then decided it needed more, Had the engine built and then sold it in 2018 to a guy I know in Mill Valley. He is now going back to the UK to live so he didn't want to take it back with him.
