Has anyone had luck finding a perfect match for the original factory paint on their classic Ford? I'm currently restoring a '72 Capri and struggling to get the paint code translated accurately to modern paints. I've tried several paint shops, and while they've gotten close, the color still seems slightly off, especially under different lighting conditions.
I'm wondering if anyone has found a reliable source for accurately matched paint or has any tips for achieving a better result. I've heard about some services that analyze paint chips to create a custom match, but I'm hesitant to invest without some reassurance. Any experiences or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Also any suggestions for rust treatments for classic fords is welcome, thanks..
