I was exploring Portland with my girlfriend and saw and saw an Opel GT on the side of the street at some repair shop. I turned me head and was looking at it, and then she goes, what's that?

I turned and looked and there was a Mk.1 Escort race car sitting there! Boy did I get excited!!!! Then she laughed and mentioned I never get that excited when I see her, but I see her lots

I don't remember the street, but maybe someone knows of this car? It made my weekend though!!!

I know that car. It belongs to the owner of that shop. He brought it to the PNW Import Ford Meet a couple of times (but not the last two years). Glad to know it is still going.

Well, this thread was bumpped by a spambot, but this car still exists!!
It's in good hands, currently running/driving and being converted to the eqilivant to Historic Spec.
Plans are to run it on the stages next year.
Was RHD, converted to LHD.
Had a cross flow, and now has a Lotus Twin cam .
