Wrecking Yard in AZ Going Out of Business

Post by angliagt »

There's a wrecking yard SW of Phoenix,Arizona going out of business.
The owner's selling off the cars for scrap prices. Some interesting cars.
I saw (from the pictures) 3 Cortina MKII 2 doors,a 100E,& part of a
MKII Consul next to the 100E.

Doug,

Thanks for the link. I was fun to see all those rarely seen imported cars, but sad to know the fate that waited most of them. Hopefully some of them were saved before the crusher was fired up. I saw the Cortinas, but didn't see the 100E or the Consul. I also think I saw a pre-1964 Datsun Bluebird, I don't know that I have ever seen one of these in real life.

 I hope those Cortinas got saved!!!! :( Seeing all those cars sure takes you back. Most of them I havent seen around Canada (especially eastern Canada) since the seventies and they were worse shape then than these are now. The link to the junkyard in Germany looked more like what used to be in Eastern Canada. Wish I had of been closer when that place was shutting down.
