Anglia 105E spotted in Bellingham Wa. (looking for one?)

Post by beast02 »

I know of an Anglia in Bellingham washington that has been in a persons yard under cover for about 3 years (that i've known of it). I figured i'd post on here if anyone would be interested in me getting the address so that you may contact them to see if they would sell it.

BTW, I am looking for a Mk.1 Cortina, so if anyone knows of one of those sitting around.....i'm looking for info.

Bryan,

EFONA does have a member in Bellingham with a non-running 105E, might be the same car.

Hello Bryan,

This is Steve in Ferndale. I know the person with these two 105E's but she said that she didn't want to sell them. I spoke to her a few years back about it and we kinda talked repair on one but she never pursued a call back to me, oh well. Had some issues with the rear end pumpkin if I can remember back that far. I might check on it later at some other time.

Steve, this is Bryan in Bellingham, I contacted you about seeing your GT. I'm moving down to Everett in two weeks and was wondering if you'd have a chance within the next two weeks to possibly show me your GT. I'd love to check it out.

Let me know, I think you have my email, if not, bry2002bmw@gmail.com

Thanks,

Bryan

Wow, what a difference a few weeks make. Went to check out to see if the two Anglias were still at the location recently mentioned on this post, and found out they were gone. Did noticed that believe it or not one of them now resides two doors down from where we lived in Bellingham. I did leave a phone number at the house in hopes someone would contact me. I will follow up later....

Hey Beast 02. Are you looking for a Cortina Project, or a restored car..

I might be finding out soon that my garage is getting too small..

Nice Cortina Mark, how much do you want for it?

Doug, if you like, I can go take a look at it for you since I'm only a few miles away.

My plan was to put the origional motor back in and sell the BDA seperate, but I recently sold the old 4 pot, and don't have anything built to replace the BD, so I guess it stays in.

I'm sure you guys will tell me pretty fast if I'm way out of line, but as is I would want $12, 000 CDN.

There of course are some things that need doing.. The car was lightly hit front abd back ( both hit and runs ) and I am just waiting to get it back into the shop.

The motor is somewhat apart for some freshing up, but the car is certainly viewable any time..
