Did anyone get to The British meet?

i was sitting in the 'border lineup'..on my way to a car show in the USA on Sunday
when a fellow pulled along side us with a Alvis roadster!!!!on a trailer.

so i jumped out and yapped with him for a few..he had been at the Vancouver show.
He said that they had announced that this year was their 2nd best attendance ever! over 500 cars!!

Now i wish I'd gone there as opposed to the 4+hour!!! drive to the Monroe swap meet...where I bought nothing

So?....anyone go?

I went, was a good show! There were a few Fords there, 2 Mk.1 Cortinas , one with a BDA, the other a GT. There was a Mk.II Cortina wagon, a MkII Capri

We hit the swap meet, If I was a chevy fan, I could have built a half dozen
cars, but being a Ford fan seems to have its limitations...
We did get a nice scenic drive in though...

That was my Cortina with the BD.. It was a really good show. the best yet. We even won the door prise of a night in Whistler and the use of a new Jag for the weekend..

Never could collect on the prize mind you..
