I got quite a bit done this weekend, my father came to give me a hand. We got all the chrome and trim removed except for the side pillar emblem surrounds. Thanks to some advice on removal, it went easier than I thought. The front turn signal surrounds on my car were actually held in with 2 screws and a threaded post, and helped hold the grill in place.
I do have a Haynes manual, Shop Manual and a Spare parts list. unfortunately, none of them had much info about how the trim is fastened.
I'm optimistic that I can have the body patched up good enough to send it off to the paint shop in a week or so.
