Post by escysean »

I have notice that there is USA registered RHD mk1 Escort (Aussie imported) on Enfostuff front page on this website when click to this forum?

Do you know anyone who owed it?

As I understand it, this is an English assembled Escort Twin-Cam, not an Aussie car (but maybe I am wrong about that). An EFONA member (Todd Ziebel) sent me this photo several years ago. The licenses plate reads Illinois. I believe this car now resides in Tennessee, but the owner is not a member.

You could be right it is English-built Twin Cam but notice the bulky door mirror that only Aussie's cars have on all cars, imports or home-built cars in the 60's and 70's

Nice to know my fav mk1 Escorts still going strong in USA, wonder how many are they out there in the states? Both mk1 and mk2 Escorts?
