crossflow breather and hose connection

I am trying to attach all the hoses on my crossflow with a 2bbl weber. It is a 1968 with a larger port (vacuum?) beneath the carb on the intake manifold as well as a small "nipple" port on no. 4 runner of the intake manifold. Also there is a small tube coming from the side of the carb.

I have the small tube that comes from the carb blocked off.

I have the breather cap connected to a port under the air cleaner.

I have the large port beneath the carb hooked to the brake booster.

I cannot determine where the crankcase port (large rectangular part that plugs into the block is attached.

Any suggestions?

Rectangular cannister includes a PCV in which a hose is connected that runs to front section of the inlet manifold

Is this PCV valve a normal serviced item? Replaceable?

When you say the "front section" of the manifold are you referring to the large nipple that is on the intake manifold below the carb and above the heater/coolant outlet port?

I presently have the brake booster vacuum hose connected there.

Is the nipple on the manifold also have a "one way" valve?

Yes, the large nipple and isn't a one way valve.

PVCs are normally replaced when glogged. Though the PCV for the 68-70 Cortina can sometimes be reused by taking it apart and cleaned. It's better to get the correct PCV for that engine. There maybe someone in this group that has a spare or try Dave Bean: 209-754-5802

The picture with the emission details is difficult to see. I printed it out in several enlargements and the details are blurry.

I believe my engine is GT spec.

If the PVC goes to the large vacuum port as shown in the other drawing you posted, where does the booster get its vacuum?

Looks like I should "T" the vacuum port and run the booster and the PVC with the same port.

I should of mentioned that you do need a "T" fitting for the PCV and booster
