If you can, get the Mk2 Cortina struts, the Capri struts steer from in front of the Cross member. I am currently modding a set of Cortina Mk2 struts for my 100e Anglia, I removed the brass welded spring cups then cut about 2 inches from the middle of the strut tube. I then welded it back together with the threaded sleeve for the coil over conversion. I had to search out some 2 inch shorter Koni shock inserts but it worked out well in the end. I also had to use offset top mounts to get the geometry back in order, I would think the 105e might be a similar situation?? There must be lots of guys on this Forum who have played with this situation?
