longer leaf spring ubolt

I'm adding a leaf to my rear springs because the rear is heavier.
These are 2" wide springs on a '65 Cortina 2 door
It looks like I'll probably need slightly longer ubolts, anyone know if this is true or where to get them in the USA?
thanks

Check out your local trailer supply stores, they should have a variety of U bolts in round and square form. I found mine at Canadian Tire just on the shelf.

You'll also need a longer centre bolt. If like the 100E, this is 5/16" UNF, I've simply put a standard bolt in an electric drill, then used a file to creat the correct dome shape. Check the fit now and again in the axle pad hole: it needs to be tight.

excellent, thanks for the input.
the leaf spring place (Denver Spring) was awesome and made new ubolts for me, and gave me new small (rear) bushings.
My centre bolt head clearance is very short, I had to put a shim in because they had 4mm height on the new bolt and my axle pad only allowed 3mm (5/16 like you said).
I may take it over there to have them judge if the 1mm shim is safe.
