Needle valve float setting

Hi, does anybody know the correct float settings for a pair of Weber twin 40's on a Lotus twin cam? Thank you. I have read somewhere 8.5mm and 15mm, however I have also found contradictions to those measurements.
Life isn't complete until you have a pair of twin cams in the garage...

That's correct. 8.5mm including gasket. Float travel to 15mm.

Thank you kindly, now I have to summon the courage to strip the carbs down!
Life isn't complete until you have a pair of twin cams in the garage...
