Driveshaft Length

Does anyone know the correct length for the drive shaft (propshaft) for series 2 Mk2 with single rail trans. I think mine is a little short therefore vibrating at higher speeds. Not much spline in the gearbox end.

Apparently there are a couple of lengths for the Cortina MK1/2. Depending on the type of trans.
MK1 GT 47 1/4" measured from tube ends. MK2 has two sizes 47 1/4" and 49". My brothers 70 GT has the 3 rail trans with the cast iron tail housing and has the 49" tube. The length of the alum tail housing and cast iron housing may not be the same.
How much of the yoke sticks out?
