Mark, just have your (potential) US buyer wire the money and let him do all the paperwork - that's how I have done it in the past.

You going to have the Escort at the ABFM this year?

No I sold the Escort a few years ago to a fellow in the US.. Peter s something.. Long gone..

I am selling my Super 7 next after the Cortina, then my GTO..

My plan is to buy an Elise.. They are 60k and up here in Canada, but you only live once.

I still have the Mk1 Estate.. coming along nicely too.. Might be done next year now that I don't have so many cars to work on..

I am in the US and have bought 2 cars out of Canada in the last 2 years. Paid by credit card on one and transferred money from my bank to the seller's directly. A doddle, as they say. Quick call to the shippers, and it was all done.
