Anglia 105E Side Window Seal

Post by Langlia »

Anglia owners..

I have the one piece seals for the side windows, have pop out windows as well. It seems when I put the seal in the window that it wants to pull away from the corners, do I need to secure it using some type of adhesive?

Thanks

Mine is a one piece two part seal that i ordered from U.K. years ago. Don't remember from whom.
One side is clamped to the window opening which is metal reinforced rubber
that can be squeezed for a firm grip. Connecting side is flex sponge rubber
that presses against the window frame.
Yours maybe a one piece without metal reinforcement. In that case use black silicon adhesive ( locktite brand is best )and masking tape to hold the seal in place.

I agree on using a silicone sealant. Permatex is a good brand also.
