Steering wheel broke on me... the welds broke and plastic was old . Never had this happen to me. How do these things come off? There's no threaded holes in the steering wheel itself to bolt the puller to and im afriad the plastic is too brittle to try and pry it off. The center nut is already removed and ive been hitting it with wd40 since last night. Do you need a puller or do they just slip right off?

My Zephyr MK2 has two adjacent holes next to the center nut. They needed to be tapped with either a 5/16" or 3/8"x 24 tap in order to use a puller.

Also, leave the center nut on until you have loosened the wheel. Otherwise when it lets go it will hit you in the face. It will hurt. :D

Unfortunately the plastic where the two holes are, are too brittle. They didnt hold and they cracked. :/
