Anyone know a decent supplier of Cortina Mk1 ball joints or repair kits?

I would always try purchasing in the States first. Ken at Dave Bean or ebay. Yesterford, Au has kits @ $75AU ea. Newfordspares: Ball joint set 204 pds.
Graeme at EnFord spares NZ. Prices vary considerably.

Thank you. I did a bit of looking on the internet and did see a fair range of prices, I didn't think of Dave Bean though, I wonder if he stocks such a thing?

So did you have to join the club or do they sell to anyone? I don't actually have a Mk1 Cortina , just the struts and track arms. I might experiment with them on the front of a 100e Anglia.

I do see that they have them, I may just need the kits but I have to disassemble and wash the bits first before I know.
Ball Joint - Lower Assembly (Steering Arm) each $145.00 ——
Ball Joint Repair Kit each $75.00

Brett. You have to be a member but if you need them I could always order them and get them sent to you. Let me know, won't be a problem.

Just checked Brett 21.60 GBP plus shipping and that's for a pair. That's for tie rod ends. Bottom ball joint kits 53.40 GBP. Not sure which one's you're after.

It is actually the main ball joint at the base of the strut, it is incorporated with the steering arm as in the photos.Image

The thing with the Mk1 Cortina strut is that it is different from the Mk2 as well as the 105e and 100e otherwise I could just use the track arm/ball joint assembly from one of the Non-Mk1 cars depending on the camber I am looking for.Image
I already have a good setup on one of my 100e vehicles using Mk2 Cortina struts and 100e arms but that took these top mounts with a lot of offset to compensate for the 9 degree Mk2 spindle angle.Image

Anyway, too much info but you get the idea.

Ok so they're 53.40 or 54.60 for the Lotus ones from the club. Nice pictures.

I was looking on their website and they do have a lot of good spares to offer, there are a number of things there that I might find myself needing in time. These are the actual NON Lotus kits that I will likely need if I go ahead with the strut rebuild.    Image                                                                           I might rebuild the ball joint assembly as well as the strut anyway, I would do it with these Burton coilover kits and a set of NOS Koni shocks that I have here. If I don't use them I may be able to sell them off?Image

I might be in need of your assistance here.

Thank you, I will have a closer look at all the bits, could be some bushings needed too. I will be in touch.
