English Car Affair in the Park 2008
If You Are Coming from Out of Town
If you are coming from out of town, I recommend the moderately priced, 1940's vintage, Crystal Court Motel (701 Belleville St, (250) 384-0551, http://www.victoriabc.com/accom/crystal.htm) conveniently located near the inner harbor. For those on a tight budget, I recommend the, 1960s vintage, Daffodil Inn, (680 Garbally Rd, (250) 386-8351) about a mile from downtown (as cheap as you can get without being scary).
Remember that Victoria is on an island, so a ferry ride will be part of the journey. Sailing reservations are not required, but are recommended. If you are coming from Port Angles, WA contact Black Ball Lines at: http://www.cohoferry.com/. From Tsawwassen BC, contact BC Ferries at: http://www.bcferries.com/. From Anacortes, WA http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/. If necessary, overnight parking for tow vehicles and trailers is available near the ferry dock. Also, while passports are desirable, they are not required for surface border crossings between the USA and Canada until 2008.
