It has been a little over 4 months since Knotts Berry Farms Fabulous Ford Car Show . It is time for a get to gather. I would like to propose a meeting on September 19th, 3 pm to whenever, at Fuddruckers in Buena Park. That is the same Fuddruckers we meet at after the Fabulous Fords Car show. I know this isn't the closest site for some but most of you know where it is. After this we can have a meeting near the San Diego area and one in the Valley area. Oh, this Fuddruckers is located at Orangethorpe and Beach Blvd. I tried to get a reserved room but on weekends they don't reserve any. They will block an area off for us.
Looking forward to seeing as many as possible on Sept. 19th.

Euro-Ford Gathering in Southern CA, 9/19/09
Eds Report
Last Saturday we had a get together of the Southern California European Ford Group. It was held a Fuddruckers in Buena Park. We picked this site because it is the place every one meets after the April Fabulous Fords Car Show.
This was a great meeting. There were two Ford Capris, one 1973 and one 1971 Capri. One other owner of a 1976 Capri was there but didn’t have his car. Also, at the get together was six Merkurs. Five were XR4Tis and one 1989 Scorpio. Finally there was a Qvale Mangusta, owned by Alex Izak.
Most of us had lunch and then went out to the parking lot to look at the various European Fords. The Qyale drew most of the attention. It really look very good. Alex has done a lot of work to it. The engine is a Rousch 302 that has been bored out to 347 hp. It seemed like everyone enjoyed themselves.
We are planning another meeting Jan 30th 2010. It will be at Steve Kummerfeld’s home in Carbon Canyon. We will have a swap meet, parts trading along with several technical “how to” items.
