2011 All British Field Meet, Bellevue, WA

Post by IFHP »

I'm thinking about taking my Mk III Cortina (recently made road worthy) to the ABFM in Bellevue, WA on 7/23. Anyone else thinking about it?

Yes, haven't decided which car yet, Rockettes XR, or my Capri...

That would be great to see you two there, but don't be surpised if they don't let the German Fords into the display area.

Steve -- Thanks for the tip on the Elma show. I'll have to pass but have a good time.

I did make it to the Bellevue ABFM. I was surprised to find a Mk I Fiesta there (a very nice all original example). Also on site was a LoCort and a Mk II Cortina wagon (for sale).

Here is a link to the pictures that I took at the event: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ifhp97/set ... 980095057/

PS: It looks like non-English cars can sort of sneek in in the late afternoon. There was Panhard and a Mercedes that showed up late. Note sure how the Fiesta got in -- maybe because it has an English engine.
